Press used essentially for bookwork (often limited edition livres d'artiste) but also general jobbing work (invitations, business cards, bilboquets); posters; imprimées de toute sorte. MC also publishes his books and prints under name Editions Petropolis, using this press for editioning his own wood engravings.
One-man operation with studio closed Mon Tues pm, owner teaching relief printmaking and typography at école Estienne.

At Basel Paper Mill we print business cards, certificates and diplompas, wedding invitations, birth announcements and invitation cards. We also do family chronicles, chromatic wood cuts or copper engravings. Since we cast our own type, we can also set and print larger copies. «Satzwerkstatt Solothurn» is run by «Grafische Vereinigung Solothurn» that was foundet in 1904. On the occasion of the 100 year jubilee in 2004, the «GVS» organised a widely noticed exhibition with some experimental typo prints from the «Satzwerkstatt Solothurn».

A small group of volunteers is running the workshop and keeping the heritage of «GVS» alive.
